I made it two days. Brother made it less than that. Despite treat incentives, praise, and cheers, he didn't seem very interested after a few times. He became a great negotiator, though.
Me: Lets run go potty, son.
Son: ....pause. I want a sucker. (not the normal bribe).
Me: Well, if you go potty in the toilet, I guess you can have a sucker.
No result.
In a nutshell? We'll try again in a few months...

potty training is the worst. We had a couple of good days this week, but today is an absolute failure.
I say give up. We started a year ago with a then almost three year old. We're still at it with a now almost four year old. The negotiating turned to complete apathy and indifference.
