Tree Toppers

A few nights ago we were at my cousin's place. Brother was staring at the figurine atop her Christmas tree- an angel in a blue dress. I asked him what that was. He thought for a moment and then looked at me and said, "Cinderella."
Close. Very Close.

Overheard:

Mom: I love you, Guy.
Guy: I do too.

Mom: What's your favorite animal?
Guy: A Turkey.
Mom: Why?
Guy: I don't know. Ask me another question.

Mom: Millaker, do you want this (insert ANYTHING.)?
Millaker: NO!
*all the while she is eagerly reaching for it- usually with mouth open in anticipation!

Mom: Is the basement messy?
Guy: Not particularly.

Eddie was apparently trying to give Guy a hug, but slipped? and her teeth hit his shoulder. He came in crying that she accidentally bit his shoulder. I was a bit confused, but finally understood what was going on. I tried to explain to Eddie that she needed to watch her teeth and be careful. In response she promptly broke down in tears and wailed, "But I can't, because my eyes are up here and my teeth are down here. I can't see them!"
